Take a look at the options below and begin, or continue, your exploration of the Albany Pine Bush. School and special interest groups: Check out our school program page and choose a program that you think would be best for your school or group. All of our programs are lead by trained staff and volunteers, and they meet several NYS Learning Standards. Book your program today! The Discovery Center is a truly amazing place to explore many aspects of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. In addition to our friendly and knowledgeable receptionists, you will find well-trained Docents in the center to answer your questions and guide you through your exploration of the Pine Bush. Investigate the details of the Pine Bush on one of our public programs. All programs are lead by staff, volunteers, or special guest experts. Nature exploration for the very young is now offered at the
Take a break from your work day to join us on the first Friday of every month for a 45 minute walk through the Preserve. Each Friday we will discuss a new aspect of the Pine Bush. Click here to see the program topics and where to meet. Be a Volunteer Docent in the Discovery Center or a Volunteer Educator leading the public and school groups in the Preserve.
