The history of the Truax family is preserved thanks to the years of effort by local historians, conservationists and government officials. Our search that spring day was for the gravestones of tavern keeper Isaac Truax and his family.

Special Exhibit in the Karner Classroom: ID Lab

Exploration Station Graphic_Summer-with stem_GBarber2Think you saw a WHAT? Visit our ID Lab and identify your natural mystery or build skills for your next adventure. All ages can participate in our newest exhibit. Discover guided and self-led activities, consult expert hosts, submit your mystery photos or use our field guides to identify your pine bush sightings. This exhibit will be open during regular operating hours through December 2015. Take your Pine Bush knowledge to the next level!

ID Sheets: Download our ID Sheets to help guide you in collecting the information needed to identify birds, insect, flowers, mammals and reptiles.
