Event Description:

Suitable for adults

Although invertebrates are technically spineless, that doesn’t mean they’re cowards! Many Pine Bush invertebrates bravely face our cold northeastern winters and survive to buzz, crawl, and slither come spring. How do they do it? Come learn about the many strategies our small Pine Bush residents employ to get through the coldest season. We plan to hike 0.9 miles over rolling terrain, stopping intermittently to search for signs of insects and observe winter in the preserve.

Reservations are required for all public programs.
