Suitable for ages 6-10, tweens, teens and adults

Have you ever heard a coyote howl? Do you wonder where they live or what they do? Come learn about these impressive animals at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center. We will start inside with a short talk about the history and biology of the eastern coyote, then will hike 0.9 miles in the preserve as we pause to look for coyote signs and explore the habitat of one of the smartest, most elusive animals in the Pine Bush.

Reservations are required for all public programs.

Please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the start of the program to check in.

While leashed pets are permitted on marked trails, we ask that visitors not bring pets to our educational programs.

CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds for programs with fees. It is, however, permissible to send or designate another person to use your program reservation.

DIRECTIONS TO APB DISCOVERY CENTER: From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
