Suitable for ages under 6 with caregivers. Did you ever wonder what lives in a lake besides fish and frogs? Put on your boots and be prepared to explore the waters of Six Mile Waterworks (Rensselaer Lake), from the edge. We will meet in the parking lot at Six Mile Waterworks, have a brief discussion, and then take a short walk to our destination. Bring your curiosity and we will provide nets and magnifiers. This program will meet at Six Mile Waterworks, not at the Discovery Center.
Reservations are required for all public programs.
Fee: Free! Reservations required for all attendees (regardless of age). Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Make reservations by calling 518-456-0655 or visit www.AlbanyPineBush.org/events
Please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the start of the program to check in.
Groups with 8 or more people, please call us for special accommodations.
Note: Programs begin promptly at times listed. If you make a reservation for a program and then decide you will not be able to attend please call us or cancel your reservation online to open up those spaces to others.
While leashed pets are permitted on marked trails, we ask that visitors not bring pets to our educational programs.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds for programs with fees. It is, however, permissible to send or designate another person to use your program reservation.
