Suitable for all ages
Did you know that the Albany Pine Bush Preserve is home to over 140 species of native bees and wasps? Join us in this program for an indoor introduction to these native beauties and then examine them on the trail during a hike. Depending on how many bees we stop to look at, we could hike as far as 0.9 miles. Learn how much we owe these insects and how you can help native pollinators in your own backyard!
Reservations required for all attendees (regardless of age). Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Groups with 8 or more people, please call us for special accommodations.
Note: Programs begin promptly at times listed. Please notify us if you need to cancel your registration so we can open your spot up to the waiting list.
While leashed pets are permitted on marked trails, we ask that visitors not bring pets to our educational programs.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds. It is, however, permissible to send or designate another person to use your program registration.
