Blueberry Hill West Trailhead (Trailhead #5)
Discovery Center Program
Suitable for ages 6-10, tweens, teens, and adults
See the world wake up around you with a peaceful hike in nature. We will meet at the Blueberry Hill West Trailhead (Trailhead #5) and take a 1.4 mile hike over rolling dunes, watching how the sun affects the natural world around us. Binoculars will be available for program participants to watch the early birds get the worm.
Pre-registration is required for all events.
Directions: To reach Trailhead #5, turn left out of the Discovery Center parking lot onto Route 155. Proceed 0.5 miles to next traffic light. Turn left onto Washington Ave. Ext. Then take your first immediate right and then a left onto Frontage Road (runs parallel with Washington Ave. Ext.). Proceed to the first stop sign (0.3 miles) which is Pitch Pine Road. Take a right onto Pitch Pine road. Continue 0.5 mile to the end of Pitch Pine Road. The road ends at the Blueberry Hill West trailhead.

While leashed pets are permitted on marked trails, we ask that visitors not bring pets to our educational programs.
