Event Description:

Karner Blue Butterflies aren't the only butterfly to depend on Wild Blue Lupine for survival. This New York state threatened species historically ranged from southern Canada south to Florida and west to Texas and Wisconsin (Albanese et al 2008). Today, the species is likely extinct in Canada and parts of northeast and central North America and is listed as endangered, threatened or of special concern in many northeastern states (Packer 1998). Join us for an evening lecture on the biology, status and threats to the Frosted Elfin (Callophrys irus).

Pre-registration is required for all events.
Fee: $3.00/person, $5.00/family, Children under 5 free.
