Exploring Nature with students K-12th grade
Project WILD is an award-winning education program focusing on wildlife and designed for teachers and youth leaders of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The activities help students learn basic concepts about wildlife and their needs through developing problem-solving skills and exploring responsible human actions toward wildlife and the environment. Project WILD is interdisciplinary and provides hands-on, inquiry-based activities at relevant grade levels. The curriculum can be used indoors and out in urban, suburban and rural environments. Educators find Project WILD beneficial because the activities use a variety of teaching methods: discussion, role-playing, guided imagery, to accommodate various learning styles.

Participants will receive 4 CTLE credits for the workshop and a Project WILD guide to use and keep.
