Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day with us by signing up to join one of our four teams, leaders provided by us, and bird with us from 8am to 12pm. The four teams will divide and conquer the preserve hiking trails in all regions. Your eyes and ears will help give us a snapshot of the birds in the preserve. We’ll regroup at noon at the Discovery Center for a light lunch to discuss our findings and see who saw the most birds, the most interesting
bird, etc. We will meet at the Discovery Center but will be
caravanning to the different trailheads for the surveys.
Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center
From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
