Please join us for the unveiling of our annual juried photo exhibit, celebrating the uniqueness and diversity of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve.

Reservations for a viewing time are required for this event, due to Covid-19 spacing considerations, so please sign up.

The exhibit will be open to the public both inside and outside the Discovery Center through the end of February 2022.  The opening night and exhibit are sponsored by Friends of the Pine Bush Community. Friends’ president Don Allard said, “The photographer, the camera and the subject are three elements making up a medium that, in this age, is no longer the purview of elite professional photographers, but is open to all. In the case of the 2021 Pine Bush Perspectives exhibit, photographers have captured images of flora and fauna in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve and perhaps those images may be viewed as a bit more meaningful, and a bit more important than previously, as people find solace in nature. This juried show aims to inspire and draw the viewer deeper into the natural world." Juror selected awards will be announced during the opening.

All ages are welcome. This free special event will be held rain or shine at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center at 195 New Karner Road, Albany. Reservations for a viewing time are required for this event, due to Covid-19 spacing considerations, so please sign up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
